Creating Your Own Dialogue ► Create your own dialogue. Select a picture from a magazine or online (make sure there is action and at least two people). Don’t TELL us about the picture, but SHOW us what is happening by using dialogue. ► Criteria: 10 lines Include narrative lines/details too. FOLLOW THE FORMATING RULES.

Review of Tips ► English—What “rules” (patterns) to keep in mind? It is grammar based. Trust your “ear.” Parallel structures Fragments, Comma Splices, and Run-on Sentences

Review Tips ► Reading—What to keep in mind? Skim the questions first. Will give line references. A great deal of “infer”-type questions. Eliminate what WON’T work to increase your chances.
