Hippies. A hippie subculture is not popular any more. The good times for hippies were the 1970s their philosophy includes love, peace, freedom. Hippies believe that love is the most powerful thing that brings people together. To love people means accepting others as they are, giving them freedom to express themselves. They don’t hurt people, they are very peaceful. The way to peace is through love A traditional hippie wears a pair of blue jeans, has long hair and chains. Hippies live in groups together and take drugs for pleasure. Hippies are fond of listening to rock-and-roll which started in the USA. The earliest musicians were Elvis Presley, Little Richard, Buddy Holly and others. They mixed black music, white “country” music to create rock-and-roll.It is based on electric guitar and drums. It has strong loud beat and repeats a few simple phrases. These days hippies participate in environmental protest actions and charity projects. Check and correct!

Punks. A punk is a person who dresses in a schocking way. He wears a leather jacket, metal chains and has brightly coloured hair. Punks protest against values of the society. They hate those people if only it isn’t spent on alcohol or drugs. Punks reject everything. They want freedom and want to change the world. A real punk is always rebellious. Punks don’t like to visit places where everyone looks the same and thinks the same. They think it’s like conformity. Punk culture was designed to 1970-1980 in the USA, Australia and Canada. Punk members express their identity in fast, loud and violent music. They choose music which has aggressive and offensive lyrics and performance. In the 1970s some bands like The Sex Pistols, The Stranglers started to play this music. Nowadays there is some tension between punks. There are punks who are poor, live in garages and busk to buy some beer and food. They hate punks who earn money playing music professionally. Check and correct!

15
I have read a lot about different subcultures, and now I know that each of them has good and bad features.
16
I want to create a subculture that has only good features. The name of my subculture is ``Joy``
17
The members of ``Joy``don`t take drugs like hippies and don`t protest against the society like punks. They don`t wear the blackest blacklike goths. They like to show off but prefer bright.
18
Their behaviour don`t differ from social norms, they are optimistic and kind. They enjoy life and want all people to be happy. They like to be in a collective and have many friends.
19
I am against violence and the members of my subculture are against it too. I hope that we will be the founders of a new subculture ``Joy``
