Trip Highlights This is a joint trip for the Marching Band & Concert Singers Both groups will operate under the same guidelines for this trip. We are representing MCHS as one group in Florida! Andy Weiss and Andrea Siedschlag will be responsible for all matters during this trip and will operate under WCPSS guidelines

Trip Highlights Costs for this trip will be the same for both groups. This is a ‘group trip’ and we will be charged group rates for all expenses. Note: The Band is using ‘fair-share’ monies to cover their transportation costs (already paid) No Discounts will be given for students who make other travel arrangements. Note: If your child is not riding the bus, we will need to know (a formal list will be generated)

Trip Highlights Package Includes 4 nights of lodging (Marriott Fairfield Inn) Hot Breakfast at the Hotel (all 4 mornings) 3-Day Park Hopper Pass (Friday thru Sunday) Band & Chorus Performances 3-Counter Meal Vouchers (one for each day at the Disney Parks)

Trip Highlights The Package DOES NOT include: Five (5) meals Thursday’s Dinner (bus ride to Florida) One meal on Friday One meal on Saturday One meal on Sunday Monday’s Lunch (bus ride home) Souvenir, refreshment or incidentals (Ensure your child has adequate monies)

Schedule Thursday (17 December) 12:30pm- Bus Departs from MCHS 10:30pm- Arrive at Hotel in Orlando Buses will make one stop for dinner.

Schedule Friday (18 December) 7am- Breakfast at the Hotel 9am- Admission to Hollywood Studios 12:30pm- Depart for Magic Kingdom 2:30pm- Marching Band performs in Parade, Chorus to watch the parade………. 4pm- Depart for Hollywood Studios until closing time

Schedule Saturday (19 December) 7am- Breakfast at the Hotel 9am- Admission to Magic Kingdom until closing time No performances on this day

Schedule Sunday (20 December) 7am- Breakfast at the Hotel 9am- Admission to Epcot until closing time Chorus will perform two (2) shows Band students will “attempt” to attend one of the performances at either the 6:45pm or 8:15pm showings to support the Chorus (seating is limited; general admission on a first come-first serve basis)

Schedule Monday (21 December) 7am- Breakfast at the Hotel 8:30am- Depart for Home 6:30pm- Arrive at MCHS Buses will make one stop for Lunch.

General Highlights: 3 Buses will be used. These buses will be ours for the entire trip (1-Chorus & 2-Band) All parents & students will sign a “Code of Conduct”. With 124 Students on this trip, inappropriate behavior will not be tolerated As a reminder, WCPSS Field Trip Guidelines will NOT allow any water activities (No Swimming Pool access allowed at the hotel)

Trip Cost: Was initially forecasted at $650 per student With a higher number of students attending this trip than originally forecasted, it lowered the transportation cost (more students on the buses) The Sunday night ‘Dinner Package’ option was cancelled (a savings of $55) Cost is now estimated at $575 per student Costs include a MCHS Trip T-Shirt

Trip Cost: Trip cost estimated at $575 per student Final payment will be determined in the very near future (to include student fundraising monies). Once this amount has been set, a DUE DATE will be set for this final payment….. Note: Band & Chorus ‘final payments’ will be different due to the Band using fair-share monies to off-set their transportation costs.
