2 MKD & MKB generators in the tunnel (Point #6) Aim of LS1 for LBDS – MKD/MKB: refurbishment of all the MKD & MKB generators (in operation + spare) 35 MKD 30 in the tunnel + 5 spare 10 MKB H 8 in the tunnel + 2 spare 14 MKB V 12 in the tunnel + 4 spare FPS actions performed during LS1: Disassembled all the MKD & MKB generators in the lab (867) Checked and cleaned all the mechanical parts Checked, cleaned and measured all the electrical and electronic components of MKD & MKB (caps, diodes, GTO,…) HV test after generators refurbishment (tunnel) Stored and managed all the components information & measurements (lab / tunnel) in specific databases Managed the spare parts ABTEF - 16/05/2014

3 MKD & MKB databases Aim of these Databases 1.Individual components: Information : store and manage all the information like #SN, trade mark, model, reference of 5200 electrical components (GTO, caps, diodes…). FYI MKD & MKB in the tunnel + spare = 42 ABB Stacks - 420 GTO + 28 Westcode stacks - 280 GTO + 20 Dynex stacks – 200 GTO 900 GTO to manage. Measurements: store and manage 17.000 electrical measurements (R, C, V, I,…) performed in the lab (867). 2.Generators: HV tests results: store and analyse 3.500 electrical measurements performed in the tunnel (point 6).
