4. Library Our Library day is Wednesday. Please make sure your child has their books at school so they can exchange or recheck on their Library day.

5. Lunch We go to lunch at the following time: 11:29-11:59 Walker 11:32-12:02 Hathorn *The kids can bring a healthy snack to eat mid morning.

8. Homework Be sure to check your child’s planner every night( need to buy at School Store Math homework is sent home daily and due the next day. Reading homework this nine weeks in READO, they need to complete 18 squares.

9. Homework Continued Spelling –Test on Thursdays –Words based on Spelling principles and patterns –Goal: for the students to use their knowledge of the new spelling patterns in their writing. –Put in as non graded assignment then all tests are averaged for one daily grade

GT Referrals The GT referral window for K-11 is August 25 th – Sept. 26 th If you would like to refer your child for Klein’s Gifted and Talented Program, please stop by the front office to pick up a referral packet. If you have any questions or concerns, please call our counselor, Anne Francis at 832-484-7706. Referral packets must be turned in to the counselor by September 26th.
