Why DC? Who am I? Planned a Washington, D.C. Trip for 8 yrs. Two years ago, we cut out the middle man. Saved tons of money. Were able to tailor our trip to our needs. Its an incredible experience! I love to plan it!

The Trip May 31 2016 –June 3, 2016 Cost is $625.00 Leave May 31 th around 6 AM Return June 3 rd around 9 PM

Cost Includes All accommodations 4 People to a room 2 king size beds Once rooms are set, there is no switching Roommates picked by students in January Meals (Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner) One lunch with own money. DC Parent Focus Group Rachel Gomes Brandi Hirsch Heather Cassandra Lynn Werth We need 4-5 volunteers from 7 th grade We will meet 3-4 times to discuss the trip, fundraisers, and to discuss any issues that come up.

Places They Go White House Capitol Building Holocaust Museum Many of the Smithsonian's Arlington National Cemetery Nationals Baseball Game The National Zoo Air and Space Museum Guided Night Tour through the National Mall and all monuments and memorials And many more!

Agenda Will most likely change as we are down there Exhibits may close May not meet Congressmen or Senators as planned May run over time at another site Different chaperone groups will go to different sites

Hotel Policies Once students are assigned to a room they cannot switch All students must remain in their hotel rooms after curfew Curfew determined that night Depends on certain events and arrival at hotel Girls on one floor, boys on the other. Troopers on duty from 11 PM-6 AM Safety for everyone!

How to Pay for the trip All fundraisers go into individual accounts Students can pay at any time and in as many installments as they need Yes! 7 th grade can begin paying now! We want to make this as easy as possible for you
