Surface of Nuclear Envelope Vs. Cutting surface of Nucleus -Nucleus: Information center -The nucleus envelop encloses the nucleus, separating its contents from the cytoplasm. -Double membranes. These membranes are separated with a space about 20-40 micrometers. -There are pore complexs on the outer membrane. They are acting as the entry and exit of the RNA and protein. -In side the nucleus, DNA is organized into discrete units called chromosomes.
4
Chromatin Vs. Chromosomes -Chromatin is the complex of DNA and protein. -They are organized form in long loop to form chromosomes. -As cells prepare to devide, the chromosomes coil, thick and separate. -Each eukaryotic species has different number of chromosomes in the cells.
