6. Job Tasks 1-I would write lesson plans and tests. 2-I would set up the classroom for planned activities such as cooking labs. 3-I would keep accurate records of student grades. Part of your job is writing market orders and shopping for supplies used in cooking labs.

8. The number of jobs will remain about the same as they are today. Fewer students graduating with a FCS degree will make it easier for those with a degree to find a job. $47,000 *employed for 10 months *no pay for July/August

9. When I took the interest inventory the cluster I scored highest in was “Education and Training”. Teacher was one of the careers in that cluster. I think I would make a good teacher because I have the skills required of a teacher-organized, creative, and flexible. I feel that I would be able to create lessons to motivate students and help them learn my subject matter. I also feel that I could deal with the stress of multiple preparations, grade deadlines and disruptive students. Being a Family and Consumer Science Teacher is definitely an option for me.
