It’s your Race for Life, you do it your way! – Race for Life Schools is a great opportunity to educate all students on the importance of a healthy lifestyle through a fun sporting activity. – It offers achievements for pupils at all key stages, including team building, confidence building and developing communication skills. It could even form part of a sports day or count towards Ofsted Citizenship objectives. – This year we are hoping for 2,100 schools to raise over £1million for Cancer Research UK – Schools can choose any day and any distance. 5. NAUNTON PARK PRIMARY SCHOOL, CHELTENHAM ‘Like many schools, we have been affected by cancer, and for the past few years staff have entered a team into Race for Life. So we decided to hold our own event as well. It was surprisingly easy to arrange and set up a JustGiving page to help busy families donate online.
