Annual Contributions 2005 - $2000 to support: YWCA Family Literacy Children’s Program 2006 - $5000 to support: YWCA Family Literacy Children’s Program and YWCA Adult Literacy Program 2007 - $3000 to support: YWCA Adult Literacy Program and YWCA Adult Computer and Employment Training Program 2008 - $3000 to support: YWCA Family Literacy Children’s Program and YWCA Adult Literacy Program 2009- $3000 to support: YWCA Family Literacy Children’s Program and YWCA Adult Literacy Program

2. Family Literacy Children’s Program  Trained volunteer tutors work one-on-one with children who can’t read, read below their grade level, or want to improve their reading and writing skills  Programs are offered for local elementary schools, pre-schools, agencies, and daycare centers

3. Adult Literacy Program  Trained volunteer tutors to work one-on- one with adults who can’t read, learn differently, have learning disabilities, or want to improve their reading skills  Classes are provided for the Hamilton City ABLE Program, Sojourner, Dove House, YWCA Residence Programs, and Southwestern Ohio Serenity Hall

4. Hope and Rescue  YWCA Literacy Program staff work with teen parents enrolled in the Hamilton City School Hope and Rescue Program  Teens are taught literacy-related activities that they can do with their children to improve their children’s reading skills

5. Adult Computer and Employment Training Program  YWCA Literacy Program staff teach basic computer skills  Target audience includes displaced workers and the elderly  Skills taught include internet searching and Microsoft Word and Excel
