TRAINING IS THE MOST IMPORTANT ELEMENT OF INJURY AND ILLNESS PREVENTION OSHA emphasizes this point through 100+ standards that require employers to train their employees in safety & health.

For employers that knowingly put their workers at risk... OSHA maintains a vigorous enforcement program.

Results, Not Red Tape OSHA has changed the way it works by focusing on the most dangerous workplaces and by insisting on results instead of red tape. There are several principles for protecting America’s workforce under the “New OSHA”.

Employer commitment and meaningful employee participation and involvement in safety and health are the key ingredients in effective programs. Employers Are Required To: Provide instruction to each employee in the recognition and avoidance of unsafe conditions. Familiarize the employees with OSHA regulations applicable to the work environment.
