5. Rules and interventions  All students are expected to: Be seated and working when the bell rings. No eating, drinking, or chewing gum. Respect your teacher and classmates. 7. Classroom procedures Entering the classroom: All students are expected to arrive to class on time. When you enter the classroom you must move directly to your seat and quietly fill out your agenda. Once your agenda is complete you will answer the warm-up question/word of the day. If you finish early, you can read silently from your DEAR novel.

8. Tardies/absences Tardies, without a pass, are unacceptable. All students should be in their seats and working by the time the bell rings. Tardy students must have a pass. After 3 tardies a consequence will be given.

9. Bathroom procedures Use the restroom before class In case of an emergency raise your hand and ask permission A bathroom pass is required

10. Fire/tornado drill procedures Remain Calm Listen to the teacher Exit the classroom quietly and calmly with your teacher We will exit out of the front door (side with the ramp). Wait on the ramp until everyone is out and the teacher tells you when to walk. Remain with your class and teacher at all times
