Grace enjoys baby-sitting, but it only pays $4 an hour. She has been offered a job as a tutor that pays $8 an hour. She can must work less than 15 hours a week. How many hours can Grace tutor and baby-sit and still make at least $80 a week?
2
We can write two inequalities for this problem. First, we will write an inequality to describe the number of hours Grace will work at both jobs (which must be less than 15 hours) B + T < 15
3
Then we will write an inequality to describe the amount of money she will earn at both jobs (which will be at least $80)
