What to do Step 1 Look at the cards. Make sure you understand all the words. Use a dictionary to look up any you are not sure about. Step 2 Listen carefully to the teacher. Write down key words that you can hear.

What to do Step 3 Work with your partner to link your key words together to make sentences. Rewrite the text, keeping as close as you can to the passage the teacher read. Step 4 Work with your group to improve your text. Try to get as close as possible to the original passage.
