Binders To school and home everyday Contains: homework, study guides, important notes, school updates, and graded papers Check the homework folder, parent information section, and graded work section nightly Papers from the parent and graded work sections should be removed and not returned to school. Please only remove papers from these two sections.

Binders All students need a 2 inch binder and 10 write on dividers by Thursday, September 3.

Homework Homework is given as needed. We only give homework to reinforce a skill learned in class. We do not send home busy work. Homework not done or forgotten will be made up at recess and counted as a miss. Students are responsible to put their homework into their homework folder each evening.

Homework Continued Reading Logs: Students must read 20 minutes, 5 nights a week. Nightly reading logs are not required this year. Math: Expected most nights Science/Social Studies: Study guides for tests, projects, needed materials

Student Vacations Fourth Grade Team Plan Work will be given to student upon return from vacation Why? Many changes to curriculum Team planning, monitoring, adjusting lessons Class could be ahead of plan or behind Few worksheets used

Student Absence A written note is required upon return to school. Work can be requested through email at the start of the absence day. The work will be sent home at your request with a sibling or neighbor designated by you, or it can be picked up in the office at the end of the school day.
