I. Claim: Men are employed more in Engineering/ Manufacturing/ Industrial careers. Women are employed more in Business and Human services.

II. Textual Analysis (Defining the Trend) Over the past, men continue to get jobs in male dominated careers. Women continue to get jobs in female dominated careers.

II.B. Secondary Research The most common job for American women since the 1950’s is a Secretary. About 4 million workers in the U.S fell under the category of Secretaries and administrative assistants between 2006 to 2010, and 96% or them were women.

II.B. Secondary Research The top ten jobs for men are construction, Politics, Math, sports Media, Emergency Services, Law Enforcement, Chef, Tech, Comedy, and Accounting and Finance.

II.C. Primary Research I took my questionnaire to one seminar class to have them fill it out. I also gave it to a few other adults.

II.C. Primary Research Out of the 24 people that I gave my Questionnaire to 1 person said Business, 14 put Human Services, 3 put Agriculture, 5 put Engineering/ Manufacturing/ Industrial, and 2 put natural Resources.

II.C. Primary Research Conclusion Men get employed more in Engineering/ Manufacturing/ Industrial careers. Women get employed more in Business.
