2  Content Area: Science  Grade Level: 5  Summary: The purpose of this Instructional PowerPoint is to help students understand the difference between mutualism, commensalism,and parasitism relationships.  Learning Objective: Given websites that contain facts about symbiotic relationships students will interpret the material within the websites to answer the questions within the PowerPoint with 100 percent accuracy.  Content Standard: GLE 0507.2.2 Explain how organisms interact through symbiotic, commensal, and parasitic relationships.  Accomplishment: 0507.2.2 Classify interspecific relationships within an ecosystem as mutualism commensalism, or parasitism.  SPI 0507.2.2 2 Distinguish among symbiotic, commensal, and parasitic relationships.
