What is Bullying? Bullying is any ongoing physical or verbal mistreatment where the victim (target) is exposed repeatedly to negative actions on the part of one or more students.

Bullying Statistics Someone gets bullied once every: 7 minutes The average bullying behavior lasts only: 37 seconds Teachers notice and intervene in only 1 out of: 25 episodes

Cyber Bullying Over 25% of students have been bullied through their cell phones or through the internet. More than half of the bullying stays hidden from parents or authorities.

A cyber bullying survey found: Cyber bullying was experienced at least one time by 43% of teens aged, 13-17. Teens reported that in 77% of the cases, the cyber bully was someone they knew. Girls claim to have been cyber bullied more than boys- 51% to 37%.
