8. 3 Ways the geography impacted development of this ethnic group…  The river, Drina for the most part creates a natural border with Serbia.  The Sava River creates the border between Croatia and Bosnia to the north.  Bosnia is landlocked and does not have any coasts. Because of this their economy is based on agriculture and mining instead of a fishing industry.
