Grading Trimpe now uses a total point system. No grades are weighted. That means when checking your grade you take the total amount of points you have earned and divide it by the total number of possible points to figure your percentage. Extra credit is available for each unit of study. Extra credit You MUST have turned in ALL assignments for a unit of study to be eligible for extra credit.
8
Missing Assignments Students are expected to complete EVERY assignment. Extra credit will not be used if a student has a missing assignment. Students will have one day to turn in the completed assignment for ½ credit.

Policies Turn in any assignment that is due in the appropriate tray. Check the board for seat work or other instructions. Be seated and begin seat work or sit quietly. Absences – See mean on the morning you return to class; I will give you an assignment sheet for the missing day’s work. – Each absence has a one-day grace period.

My Pledge to Students I will trust you until you give me reason to do otherwise. I will respect you and work with you to solve problems. I promise to answer your questions. If you are confused about an assignment, raise your hand and ask for help.
