7. Subject Weighting MATH -60% Tests Chapter and Unit Assessments -10% Math Facts Possible timed tests. IMPORTANT! -30% Class work/Homework Nightly homework

8. Subject Weighting Language Arts -60% Writing/R.T.L. Personal and Imaginative narratives, Persuasive writing, How To, and Expository -25% Class Work All language standards -10% Spelling/vocab spelling/vocab. tests -5% Homework

9. Subject Weighting Reading -50% Tests Literature Studies, RTL, and Comprehension assessments. -35% Class Work (Vocabulary, Main Idea, Figurative Language,) -5% Homework -10% AR Wherever they are in their goal is what percent they receive out of a 100 points. So if they get to 89% of their goal they get 89/100.

10. Subject Weighting Social Studies & Science -75% Class Work -25% Participation

11. Homework Students are expected to read 30 minutes, 5 nights a week in order to achieve success in AR Worksheet OR journaling (M-TH) Any unfinished class work No homework on weekends unless behind in work
