4 12/23/2003 - 20008277-AASI-4 Design Summary As presented in ASI’s value engineering presentation, ASI’s pod design concept was predicated on round vs. rectangular configuration –Take advantage of heritage UHV technologies Conflat Wire-Seal Pod designs presented will be common to both HAM and BSC prototypes –Stage 1 Single pod concept is now three (3) individual pods –Flexibility in packaging & alignment –Stage 2 Single pod design similar to that presented at the value engineering presentation
