Br. gov’t seized control of 3/5 of India, after an uprising against the Br. East India Company’s control. A. The Nature of British Rule 1. Br. put themselves above Indian society. 2. Br. schools taught Western ideas & beliefs. B. The Rise of Indian Nationalism 1. Indian Muslims believed that Br. rule had protected them from violence (Hindus).

You may not use any of the examples I used from the previous day. Minimum of two for each.
