Engineering Design Central Concepts: Engineering design involves practical problem solving, research, development, and invention/innovation, and requires designing, drawing, building, testing, and redesigning. Students should demonstrate the ability to use the engineering design process to solve a problem or meet a challenge.
3
1.1Identify and explain the steps of the engineering design process: identify the problem, research the problem, develop possible solutions, select the best possible solution(s), construct prototypes and/or models, test and evaluate, communicate the solutions, and redesign. 4
Identify the problem Identify the problem in need of a solution. You shall create an office or business chair for use in a professional setting. The Project has a limited time frame so you must work quickly and efficiently to satisfy your customers demanding needs.
5
Parameters The chair you design must have a metal body, four legs, a seat, and a back rest. You may add arms, wheels or other features as you see fit. The leg material should be metal while the seat and back material is of your choosing. You need to create two preliminary designs for the customer and refine the one chosen for final production. Must animate it to show the design. The chair you design must have a metal body, four legs, a seat, and a back rest. You may add arms, wheels or other features as you see fit. Research the problem Examine the current state of the issues and current solutions. After looking around on Google I have decided to go with a somewhat sophisticated, but affordable design.

9
Rendering of Design I chose the design on the right from the last slide, and continually improved it to get it to look like what it does. So far, the chair is capable of going up and down, but it is eventually going to spin, and tilt back.
10
Brazil™ Rendering This Rendering was done is Brazil™. It’s a high quality rendering software, but I haven’t learned how to put materials on items in Brazil™. There is a decal on the paper, and the floor is carpet material. The table is a wood material, but it is difficult to tell from this rendering,

Identify the problem Identify the problem in need of a solution. You have hired to create a new video game object such as a laser pistol, weapon, or vehicle for the latest software game for the next holiday season. Distinctive design that will blow away the enemy and the competition. Competition is your classmates

Attachments All of the attachments in each camouflage. The attachments include an ACOG enhanced sight scope, handle with built in iron sights, a fore grip for less recoil and more control when firing, a silencer and 2 types of magazines that hold the ammunition.

Sidearm The sidearm is a m9 baretta that looks more like a desert eagle. Its golden. The sidearm is a m9 baretta that looks more like a desert eagle. Its golden.
