NAVY SUPPLY INFORMATION SYSTEMS ACTIVITY Purpose of Carcass Tracking Ensures repairables are returned and received to the supply system in an expeditious manner while minimizing Fleet workload. Monitors retrograde turn-in and provides statistical information on the “Fleet to Hub” pipeline. Reduces the cost recovery rate (CRR) by ensuring lost carcasses are minimized. Generates retrograde management reports for the Fleet via SALTS and website. Triggers electronic follow-ups (BKs). Processes BK2 responses. Generates Carcass Value bills/credits. Generates System Losses.
