Distance Formula The Distance Formula is really just a coordinate geometry way of writing the Pythagorean Theorem. If you cannot remember the Distance Formula, you can always draw a graph and use the Pythagorean Theorem to solve the problem.

Midpoint Formula The coordinates of the midpoint are the average of the x-coordinates and the average of the y- coordinates of the endpoints.
