Workings of The Holy Spirit I.When is this Baptism received? A.Exodus 31:1-5 1.The Holy Spirit was sent to 1 Man B.Numbers 11:16-17, 24-25 1.The Holy Spirit came upon 70 appointed Men of Israel C.Pentecostal/Charismatic believe this Baptism is received at some point after conversion. (usually time in between, but not always) 1.Acts 2:4, 8:14-17, 10:45-47, 19:6 a)This was the initial coming of the Holy Spirit, not what we see today D.Most other mainline denominations view this Baptism as being received at the point of Salvation. There is no second blessing. 1.Ephesians 1:3-6 2.Romans 8:9

III.Symbolic A.Most other Protestant Denominations believe that the Communion is a symbol and done as a remembrance.
