2
© 2011 Autodesk Class Summary This class will cover what should be setup before using the survey database what considerations should be taken in the field when collecting data how to import several different types of data and how to return data from Civil 3D back to the field for stakeout.
3
© 2011 Autodesk Learning Objectives At the end of this class, you will be able to: Setup the survey database data collection Create field coding Import data into the database and design files Edit, adjust and add data to the database Export Data for Stakeout

6
© 2011 Autodesk Civil 3D Survey Database General Setup Linework Codes Special codes to start linework figures Some customizability Can create a set for different uses
7
© 2011 Autodesk Civil 3D Survey Database General Setup Linework Codes Figure Prefix Database The POINT codes that linework goes through Like desc keys for points - line management Be aware unless 100% used
8
© 2011 Autodesk Civil 3D Survey Database General Setup Linework Codes Figure Prefix Database Equipment Database Data sheets for each piece of equipment Not necessary, only if using closure analysis
9
