2 Responsibilities Respond to incidents ▫Gunshots ▫Child Birth ▫Automobile accidents ▫Heart attacks assess nature of patient's condition ▫determine if patient has pre-existing conditions ▫Provide emergency care

3 EMT Basic No shots or start intravenous lifelines Restricted- oxygen, glucose, asthma inhalers, and epinephrine auto-injectors

4 Basic Education Emergency skills (cardiac and respiratory) Use emergency equipment Pass exam
