3. My Goal: To Save Lives By: Devon Williams My most important goal in life is to become an EMT, or emergency medical technician. There are three things that I’m doing to accomplish this goal. First of all, I dedicate time as a volunteer at the emergency response center in my town. I’ve learned to take 911 calls and keep our emergency vehicles supplied. In addition, I’ve taken classes at the Red Cross to learn life-saving techniques. The most important thing I’m doing to meet my goal is getting good enough grades to graduate and be accepted in an EMT training program. To sum up, I am doing all I can to pursue my goal of saving lives as an EMT.
