3. Flag, Motto, Anthem: The United States anthem is the “Star Spangled Banner” which was written by Francis Scott Key. The 13 stripes in the flag represent the original 13 colonies, while the 50 stars represent the 50 states.

4. History: The United States was a new discovery to Christopher Columbus who was in search for India. From then on they colonized the “new found land”, or the “America’s”

5. Economy: Most business, trade and commerce take place on Wall street. This is where most business is located. On Wall Street stocks are bought, sold and exchanged.

6. Famous people/role model: There are many important people who through the course of history have influenced the United States. Some of these people include the first president George Washington, Martin Luther King Jr., John F. Kennedy, and the most recent is Barack Obama who has become the first African American president.
