Flu Season is Upon Us… Everyone 6 months of age and older should get a flu vaccine every season.

Trick or Treat Safety Only go in well-lit areas. Never go inside a stranger’s home. Drive carefully thru neighborhoods Travel in groups Bring flash lights Always inspect candy before eating

Vehicle Checks Check heaters, defrosters & wipers Add Wiper fluid for colder weather Check tire tread Stock Emergency kit in vehicle Have Brakes checked Have oil filters replaced

Car vs. Deer There are approximately 1.5 million deer-related car accidents annually There are roughly 200 fatalities The majority of these accidents occur between October and December.

Hunting Season 1,000 people are accidentally shot while hunting annually. About 100 of those accidents are fatal. On average 6 million deer are killed during the hunting season each year.

Turkey Time Clostridium perfringens is the second most common bacterial cause of food poisoning. Your food thermometer must reach a minimum internal temp of 165 degrees.
