3 Flu Season is Upon Us… Everyone 6 months of age and older should get a flu vaccine every season.

4 Trick or Treat Safety Only go in well-lit areas. Never go inside a stranger’s home. Drive carefully thru neighborhoods Travel in groups Bring flash lights Always inspect candy before eating

5 Vehicle Checks Check heaters, defrosters & wipers Add Wiper fluid for colder weather Check tire tread Stock Emergency kit in vehicle Have Brakes checked Have oil filters replaced

6 Car vs. Deer There are approximately 1.5 million deer-related car accidents annually There are roughly 200 fatalities The majority of these accidents occur between October and December.

7 Hunting Season 1,000 people are accidentally shot while hunting annually. About 100 of those accidents are fatal. On average 6 million deer are killed during the hunting season each year.

8 Turkey Time Clostridium perfringens is the second most common bacterial cause of food poisoning. Your food thermometer must reach a minimum internal temp of 165 degrees.
