3 Transportation HB 1001 Budget Bill Increased local road and bridge funding by eliminating off the top expenditure for the State Police, BMV Dedicated 1.5 percent of the overall sales tax collections to the MVH fund. This will increase county distributions for the MVH fund by nearly $70 million each year.

4 Transportation HB 1324 (Frye) Motor Fuels Alternative Fuels Tax Fuel tax imposing the existing rates on the diesel or gasoline gallon equivalents of the various forms of natural gas sold. Generate revenue in an amount approaching $1 M

5 Transportation HB 1067 (Cherry) Federal Funds Exchange Would allow a county or municipality that receives funds from the Federal Surface Transportation Program (STP) to exchange the federal funds at a rate of $0.75 of state funds for each $1 of federal funds. May reduce project administration costs

6 Transportation SB 389 (Boots) County Excise Surtax and Wheel Tax. Permits a county income tax council to impose a motor vehicle excise surtax and a wheel tax for a county. 45 counties have not adopted Could raise an estimated $70M if they adopt the taxes at the maximum rates. 14 Gaming SB 528 Gaming (Boots) This bill eliminates the casino admissions tax. Reduces the set amount distributed to every non- gaming county by $6.5 M. Counties can not afford to take this loss
