5 Here’s How it Works… Call to schedule an appointment. Intake forms will be sent to you with complete instructions for pre-appointment preparation. The day of the scan the horse is prepped by owner according to instructions i.e. clean, dry, main clipped up, tail braided or bagged. Horse is exercised for approx. 20 minutes by the owner and rests approx. 20-30 minutes in a clean dry covered environment. Owner positions horse while the technician performs a full body scan of 30 images (approx 20 minutes). Within 3-4 business days horse owner & vet receive a comprehensive analysis and report from a veterinarian and farrier certified in equine infrared thermography.
