PEAK FOR THE WEEK COMMENCING 12 th February 2012 (WEEK 7) Marginal PUT declines against AP demographics with AP 18-39 & AP 25-54 both down 1%, AP 18-49 down 0.3% and AP5+ up 1% YOY. Monday, Tuesday, Friday and Saturday nights this week experienced PUT growth with both Tuesday and Saturday night recording a 8% lift against AP 5+. Source: Nielsen TAM. TV ONE HIGHLIGHTS AP 25-54 TV ONE gained traction this week with an audience growth of 8% (to 6.8 ratings). Share also grew 7% (to 20.4%). Year on year, both audience & share losses were reported although share is still ahead of the 2010 levels. Wednesday night experienced the highest weekly lift of 15% with Fair Go returning to the screens and the new series of SPCA Rescue airing Year to date, TV ONE’s average audience is sitting at 7.4, compared to 8.9 in 2011. One show was in the top 10 programmes this week. TV2 HIGHLIGHTS AP 18-39 TV2 had a great week with audiences up 6% (to 8.9 ratings) and share up 2% (to 31.1%), the highest recorded share year to date. From a yearly perspective, minor audience & share losses were recorded. Sunday night experienced the highest weekly lift of 113%, a result of The Big Bang Theory, Mike & Molly and Happily Divorced in the schedule. TV2’s average audiences are sitting at 7.5 compared to 8.6 last year. All of the top 10 programmes this week were on TV2. For Week 6, tvnz.co.nz Page Impressions are up 20% year on year with Unique Browsers up 41% for the same week last year. TVNZ Ondemand weekly Stream Views increased by 39% compared to the same week last year. Year to date, TVNZ Ondemand Stream Views are sitting 33% ahead of last year.
