2 Crime & Punishment In Tudor England the punishment sure was harsh! During the reign of Henry VIII over 70,000 people were executed. People even got put in stocks!

3 Tudor Buildings As you can see, Tudor buildings varied widely from a small Tudor design of a family home in Norwich (pictured left) to Blickling Hall near Alysham (pictured right). Most Tudor buildings were quite different but had the same design.

4 Henry VIII (1509-1547) Henry VIII was born on 28 th June 1491 and died on 28th January 1547. Henry VIII was the second monarch in the House of Tudor. Henry VIII was given a first-rate education, becoming fluent in Latin, French and Spanish

5 Henry VIII’s 6 wives Divorced, beheaded and died, Divorced, beheaded, survived, I’m Henry VIII, I had six sorry wives, Some might say I ruined their lives.

6 Sir Francis Drake Sir Francis Drake is famous Elizabethan admiral who was born in Tavistock (Devon) around about 1540. He travelled around the world to make maps more accurate; it did take him three years (1577-1580) but he must have enjoyed it.
