11 Your son/daughter should have already: Attended university Open Days to help decide the five universities they will apply to. Have a draft of a 4000 character personal statement and started to get adults to look at it - this could be parents or teachers. Narrowed down their subject choice – there are over 50,000 different courses so this can be very challenging! Created an account on the UCAS website and linked it to school by entering the ‘buzzword’: elthorne2016 To do between now and 9 th December: Complete the online application including five university choices and personal statement Pay the £23 application fee online We have been working on this since the summer term of year 12. We will continue to work on personal statement drafting every fortnight during the PSHCE session with tutors.
