2 IDEA - SEE THE RADIO a one-of-a-kind initiatives by the largest radio network in India - To create awareness about challenges faced by the hearing-impaired & make - people learn the sign language which will give feeling of belongingness to this The impossibility of the idea is what has helped to crack it! 3 PART 1 - SEE THE RADIO 27th September was celebrated as The World Day of the Deaf. For the first time in the country and probably in the world, the non hearing experienced ‘SEE THE RADIO’ with 92.7 Big FM. Whatever the jocks said was interpreted for them via sign language. Executed from 27 th Sept to 2 nd October.

4 PARTNERS J. Walter Thompson and Hellen Keller institute is partners with us and are giving us inspiring stories Content on development that has taken place in the field of technology for the deaf along with the obstacles and taboo that the deaf face on an everyday level.

5 PART 2 - SEE THE RADIO The 2 nd and final leg of this is something no radio station has ever done! We are going to get a deaf radio jockey – the mechanism of this will be based on the content that the deaf rado jockey would like to express as a radio jockey. There will be a neutral voice ( preferably a celeb) who will be the voice of his/ her thoughts. They will also undergo a 1 day workshop – radio and sign language. Simple Objective – inclusion in society. If radio can hire a deaf RJ, there could definitely be a job opportunity that could be given to hearing disabled

6 INTRODUCTION OF PHASE II Introducing the campaign with daily post on sign language like how one will say ‘Thank You‘ in sign language etc. Putting short video clips on social media platforms of the activity/workshops happening across different cities. covered live online Small video snippets of talented (good in dance/art etc) students from the institute.

7 MICROSITE Host all the information about See The Radio campaign Coverage of all the activities done in various cities for Video bytes of all the celebs & Rjs following Sign Language Option of sharing on social media platforms.
