2 Ellis Island Was the island in the 1800 trough the 1900’s where immigrants from the east come trough to be processed and entered in to the United States.

3 Alex Woodle His grandfather David Woodle came to the US from Bohemia in the mid 19 th Century. Alex has been looking for the origin of his family in Bohemia now part of the Czech Republic. He has spent multiple years in searching for “the lost Jews of Bohemia” as he likes to call it.

4 Byron Yee Son of Bing Quail Yee, he came to the US in 1938. Searching for the American Dream he had no money nor know a word of English. Byron Yee is a paper son. Also known as people who claim to be off springs of US citizens to gain US citizenships.

5 November 1954 Ellis Island was closed in November of 1954. It was turned into a museum following the years after it was closed, it was added to The Statue of Liberty National Monument by President Lyndon B. Johnson in May 11, 1965.

6 1890 The Federal Government took over immigration. A building was built to process immigrants coming from Europe and Africa. The Federal Government gave 75,000 to build on the island.
