T he 14 th of October is holiday of Intercession and the day of Ukrainian Cossacks. This holiday has been celebrated by preparing delicious dishes. Cossack favorite dishes are kulish, solomaha, mamalyha, galushky or dumplings. Cossack dishes are simple to prepare, but tasty and healthy. They are prepared on a fire in the open air. Galushky are one of the oldest traditional Ukrainian dishes. Previously, they prepared a special recipe with wheat and buckwheat flour. Mixed the vegetable broth, milk or whey dough. Boiled in salted water until the float. And eating such yummy with bacon, sour cream and broth. Since 2015 in this day Ukraine has celebrated the Day of Defender.
