A sandwich shop has a very specific recipe that must be followed for all of their sandwiches. The table below shows the amount of each ingredient that must go on the mega meat sandwich. Fill in the missing values. You may work with your table partner. SandwichesBread Slices Ham Slices Turkey Slices Salami Slices Pepperoni Slices Bacon Slices 612 24366 1 12 9 3

What is the total number of cups of meat on one meatlovers pizza?
4
What do you need to know to complete this table?

A sports drink has a particular mix to water ratio. If too much mix is used, the drink is thick and too sweet. If too little mix is used, the drink tastes watered down. The table below shows the mix to water ratio for a particular total amount. Fill in the missing values in the Table: MixWaterTotal 8 oz16 oz24 oz 1 oz 6 oz 4 oz 10 oz 16 oz 30 oz

Remember that 16 oz = 1lb

What challenges did you encounter? How did you find the value for the third column? Given the third column and one of the first two, how did you find the missing value? Is the backpack weight proportional to the hiker’s weight? Will backpack weight always be proportional to hiker weight? Describe the process for writing the equation
9
Describe the process for solving using proportions What must be known to find a missing value regardless of the method used? Now that we know the ratio of hiker weight to backpack weight can we find both these parts given only total weight? Find the hiker weight and backpack weight if the total weight is 120lbs.
