3. How long have you been teaching? I have been teaching for 33 ½ years. In fact, this is my last year.

4. What’s your favorite memory of teaching? A few years ago, one of my former students who had become an elementary teacher was interviewed & she named me as her reason for becoming a teacher. It made me very proud!

5. What made you want to be a teacher? I always wanted to be a teacher, I always enjoyed going to school & I knew I must enjoy what I choose for my career, because I would do it for a long time.

6. How long did you go to school become a teacher? To become a teacher you need a degree from college, which usually takes about 4 years, I also have my Masters Degree which took an extra year.

7. Why is this your last year teaching? Although I love teaching, I am ready for the next phase of my life. I will travel & take care of my new grandchild.
