4 David Hubel and Torsten Wiesel Discovered that groups of neurons in the visual cortex respond to different types of visual images. Visual cortex has feature detectors for vertical lines, curves, motion, and many other features of images.

5 Ernest Weber Psychophysics who computed Weber’s Law For people to perceive a difference, the stimulus must differ by a constant proportion not a constant amount. Weber’s Law- related to the just noticeable difference, which is the minimum difference in stimulation that a person can detect 50% of the time.
