ECU EdS Highlights Designed to prepare or advance school system leadership Current Principal (012) or Instructional Specialist (113) license to Advanced License Also, adds the NC Superintendent’s License and salary supplemen tof $126/month if in an administrative positions Non 012 or 113 graduates earn entry level 113 license 100% online instruction – asynchronous/synchronous Must have the MSA or Master’s in an educational related area (with “M” on NC Teaching License) to be eligible for Level 1 113 License 38 semester hour curriculum - over 2 academic years 100% Distance Education tuition/fee rate (2015-16 is $238.22.00 per semester hour) 4

The EdS Application/Admissions Guidelines Completed Application Deadline: February 15, 2016 $70.00 application fee Submit all items online or by email to Graduate SchoolGraduate School Manage Application Status online – your responsibility Copy of NC license – scan and email to Grad School 3 years of school or system leadership experience Three letters of professional reference – one required from your current evaluator Slide 1 of 2 5

Superintendent License Highlights 2015 state requirements for degree and licensing of superintendents based on the NC Standards for Superintendents Artifact based in the four licensure courses for all EdS candidates These four course aligned to transfer into the ECU EdD for EdS completers 12
