6. Must Face The Facts! God sent His son -- Jn 3:16. Jesus Died, Buried, Ress. Lk 23, Jn 14:23 Must obey the Gospel –II Thess 1:8 Born into the Kingdom – Jn 3:5 Obedience=Salvation! Ats 2:38, 3:19 Promise of Eternal Life! I Jn 2:25

7. First Facts then Faith Rm 10:17 “Faith cometh by hearing…” Not Mysterious Not a “gift” you “wait” for No one is ever converted without first hearing! MUST HAVE ENOUGH FAITH TO OBEY THE FACTS! Mk 16:15-16

8. Role of Feelings Must avoid extremes: Some abuse feelings –put them first! EMOTIONALISM Some over-react to the abuse and are afraid! TO LEAVE OUT FEELINGS IS JUST AS SERIOUS AS LEAVING OUT FACTS AND FAITH!

9. BIBLICAL EXAMPLES Phil 4:4 –REJOICE! Prodigal Son – Lk 15:20 “moved with compassion, and fell on his neck and kissed him.” The Eunuch – Acts 8:35-38 Good conscience produces good feelings! I Peter 3:21
