2. RECZAM, a non-profit initiative group, formed by 16 believers in the ability of Mathematics education in changing student lives in Zambia by promoting creativity & entrepreneurship.

An initial creative project by the Group is to pilot an idea to hand make creative packaging designs to raise the income among student families by working from home outside schooling hours, cooperatively within a school, and collaboratively between schools. The idea mooted a plan to produce attractive, functional & heart- warming packaging designs with the slogan “Hearts - Made Locally, Distributed Globally.”

4. Propose some packaging designs to pack some local products made in the neighbourhood. Creative & heart-warming designs will be selected to be showcased during the ‘Zambian Product Exhibition’ to be held in March 2015 in the capital city of Lusaka. You may find packaging designs produced by warm & caring hearts can produce fantastically marvelous packaging able to touch the hearts of the consumer- recipients.

5. All your designs will be showcased at the ‘Zambian Products Exhibition 2015’ to be held in March in the capital city of Lusaka. Set up your booth.

6. FIFA procurement committee chairman was at the ‘Zambian Products Exhibition 2015’ and he was deeply touched by some of your designs & group initiatives. These designs have been selected to wrap gifts & souvenirs sold at the preliminary matches during FIFA World Cup 2018. If the size of the cardboard used to produce the packages is the size of a manila card, place the orders for the materials if 10,000 pieces of each design is booked by FIFA.

12. An expo is being held in Penang this year, and your company is participating in the exhibition. Design various types of boxes made from recycled materials appealing to clients who are environmentally conscious. Display and market your designs for the potential clients & visitors to the exhibition.

13. A big company likes one of your packaging that your team has designed. The company has placed an order of 1000 units of that packaging. You need to calculate how much material of the recycled material to buy to start production of the boxes. The material comes in various sizes following the standard paper sizes.
