Printing your document is the last task you will perform before distribution. This tutorial will explain printing options. Here are some suggestions to best optimize this step. ______________________________________________ Be sure to do a single test print page before making multiple copies. Do not change out of draft printing unless you clearly need a professional look. Sometimes back to back printing or book printing requires additional physical steps. Be sure to do a single test copy before making multiples. Color printing requires more resources so make sure that your project really requires the use of color. Within the File menu select the Print icon. Be sure to select the appropriate printer on you network. Here the color printer is selected.

Select Properties in the Print menu.

Within the Properties menu you are able to adjust many aspects of the printing process. Examples include paper size, color options, quality of print and much more.

Closing the Properties menu will bring you back to the Print menu. This will allow you to choose number of copies or collate multiple pages.

At this point you are ready to print your test page and make adjustments based on the project goals. You have completed this section Good luck!
