Children’s Book Vocabulary Create a children’s book using the terms about disabilities. Use PowerPoint. Identify the word being defined in the title box somehow. (see example) Place the full definition in the footer for each page (view, header/footer, check box footer, type the definition, apply to page – NOT all pages) Create a statement on the page that ILLUSTRATES the definition. This is the “story”.(see example) Place a picture on each page that relates to the statement. Print the PPT in handout view with 2 slides per page in color. Cut out the pages.
