2.The compound sentence I like English. He likes English, too. I like English and he likes English, too. He has broken his glasses. He can’t read anything. He has broken his glasses, so he can’t read anything. She never said she was homesick. Actually she was homesick. She never said she was homesick, but actually she was. ( and, but, so ) 并列复合句

3. The complex sentence 1) The adverbial clause I like English because it is interesting. I like English although it is quite difficult. Tom will telephone me as soon as he arrives in Beijing. You can work out the math problem if you think hard. They were so weak that they couldn’t walk any further. The speaker raised his voice so that everybody could hear him. 主从复合句 状语从句

2 ) The object clause Mr Black asked if/whether we had been to New York. David said (that )our school team won the soccer match last night. I wonder how many copies of magazines have been sold out. 宾语从句

3). The attributive clause They will find an apartment (that) they can afford to buy. This is the farm where we once worked for a year. Look at the girl whose father is my English teacher. I still remember the time when we worked together in the paper factory. Little Tom failed his math test, which made the whole family anxious. 定语从句
