8. EXHORTATION - PARAKALEO or PARAKLESIS

9. PARAKALEO - to call to or for, to exhort, to encourage, appeal, beg, or to call near.

10. PARA - from beside, by the side of, by, or beside KALEO - to call.

11. PARAKLESIS - a calling to one’s aid, encouragement, comfort, appeal, consolation, exhortation, urging, imploration, and entreaty.

12. Permanent Gift: Rom. 12:8

13. The supernatural ability to encourage, counsel, comfort, admonish, warn, and advise others.

14. The special ability to minister words of comfort, consolation, encouragement and counsel to other members of the Body of Christ so that they feel helped and healed.

15. Gal 4:16, “So have I become your enemy by telling you the truth?”

23. META = with or among DIDOMI = to give.

24. METADIDOMI = to give a share of, gives, impart, share, or to give over.

25. Permanent Gift: Rom 12:8, “...or he who gives, with liberality...”

26. The supernatural ability to contribute material resources to the work of the Lord with liberality and cheerfulness to meet the physical (mainly financial) needs of others.

27. It’s the ability to be very generous with the means you have.

28. “With liberality" - HAPLOTES, singleness, simplicity, liberality, sincerity, mental honesty, and the virtue of one that is free from pretence and hypocrisy.

29. It means not self-seeking, openness of heart, manifesting itself by generosity, copious bestowal and bountifulness.

30. No strings attached!

31. This is a special spiritual gift given to both rich and poor, for the extravagant use of their earthly possessions in providing for the needs of both believers and Christian institutions.

32. Before you give to the local church, you have a responsibility to provide for your family. 1 Tim 5:4, 8

33. 1 Tim 5:8, “But if anyone does not provide for his own, and especially for those of his household, he has denied the faith and is worse than an unbeliever."

34. A person with the spiritual gift of giving, will give sacrificially.
